A Gift from the Shore - Art Print
Design
A personal piece this old Victorian poison bottle was discovered washed ashore by my Nan who later gave it to me when she learnt of my enthusiasm for finding sea glass. Here it is pictured on Reiss Beach in Caithness. Once discarded, now treasured its a small piece of history carried by tide and time.
The sea has left its mark, its gently chipped, its edges no longer smooth but its textured appearance tells a story of survival against the odds. A single wild daisy stands within the bottle - a quiet contrast to the bottles once dangerous contents.
A story of memory, resilience and beauty, this print captures the meeting of past and present - the stories our shores hold, the objects they return, and the personal histories we carry forward.
